Simple DIY Galaxy Nail Art

Products Used
|NAIL POLISH| (From Left to Right) Sinful Colors in Clear Coat, Starfish, Endless Blue, Black on Black, Snow White, Wet n Wild Wildshine in Kaleidoscope |OTHER ITEMS| Cosmetic Sponges, Tweezers

Step #1

Paint your nails black with as many coats needed to make it entirely opaque.

Let your nails dry completely.

Step #2

Rip off a piece of a cosmetic sponge with your tweezers and swipe a bit of blue nail polish on one end.

Step #3

Lightly pat on the blue nail polish on your dry, black nails until the desired color is reached.

The galaxy look works best if you don't entirely cover the black nail polish, so make sure to have some black peaking through the celestial colors.

Step #4

Rip off another piece of a cosmetic sponge (slightly smaller than the piece used for the blue polish) and swipe on a bit of a pink nail polish on one end.

Lightly pat on the pink polish on your nails, without completely covering the blue and black polishes.

Step #5

Rip off an even smaller piece of a cosmetic sponge and swipe on a bit of white polish on one end.

For better results, do not put too much white polish on the sponge. You might want to wipe some of the polish off on a piece of paper before applying it to your nails.

Very lightly pat on a small amount of white polish on your nails, without completely covering the other colors you've applied.

At this point you can apply some top/clear coat polish over your nails and call it a day...

or you can rip off another piece of a cosmetic sponge and swipe on a bit of silver glitter polish on one end, and proceed to pat the glitter polish on your nails for a more cosmic look.

I hope you all enjoyed this simple galactic DIY nail design, that doesn't require any precision at all. You can apply these nail colors as messily as you want, and it will still turn out amazing.

Best of luck-
Kayla
